Work With Children & Schools

We work with children and young people (ages 2-25) experiencing a difficulty at home, nursery or their school. Our work begins with a meeting to find out more about a child's strengths and needs from those people who know the child best.

Therapeutic Interventions

We are able to work therapeutically with an individual, family or group using a range of evidence-based techniques to bring about positive change.

Exam Access Arrangements

We understand that sometimes young people need adjustments to be made to do their best in exams. We are able to carry out the assessments needed to make an application for access arrangements.

Supervision & Consultative Work

We offer supervision to professionals working with children and young people in a range of capacities. We also offer bespoke consultative work to support schools and other organisations to build capacity and address specific needs.

Training & Research

We offer training that incorporates research-based information with the most current scientific evidence for best practice and applied strategies and techniques.

Our Approach

Positive Minds Psychology is an independent educational and child psychology service working with children, families and schools in London, UK and Athens, Greece.

The team consists of four highly skilled psychologists who share a belief in the use of psychology to bring about positive lasting change for all.

Following many years working for local authorities, Positive Minds Psychology was founded to enable a new way of working that is personal, creative and grounded in well-established research.

Therapy Sessions
Alex had definitely improved and is so much better all round. He is so much less anxious about school and is really delighted with his progress. I love pointing out situations where previously he would have been upset but now is taking them in his stride. Thank you so much for your continued work and feedback, its really made such a difference to all our lives.
