Supervision & Consultative Work
Professional Supervision

We offer supervision to professionals working with children and young people in a range of capacities, whether this involves direct work or work within a system or organisation. This might include teachers, learning support staff and staff leading particular interventions or provisions.
Supervision is a process by which the professional works with a psychologist who has the appropriate skills and knowledge to enable the development and achievement of identified organisational, professional and personal goals. We employ a reflective, solution-focused and flexible approach with applied coaching techniques to promote, through supervision, the best professional and personal outcomes for the client.

Consultative Work

We offer bespoke consultative work to support schools and other organisations to build capacity and address specific needs. This work might involve:

-
consultation to devise a school response for traumatic incidents
-
supporting the development of a new behaviour policy
-
advising on whole school issues such as raising attainment, promoting wellbeing and reducing exclusions
-
implementing a framework to improve outcomes for children with ASD
-
increasing the use of solution focused approaches
